The President of World Bank takes a stand against economic policies in Europe. Rather, the liberal policies of developing countries that show the path to sustainable growth.

The economic policies of developing countries should be our new source of inspiration. It is, essentially, Robert Zoellick's assertions, the Financial Times published on Tuesday. The current World Bank President Calls indeed liberal measures to boost the private sector, following the example of developing countries and against the flow of current European policies.
For Zoellick, replace the vision of a "financial crisis, Part 2" by that of a "challenge to sustainable growth, part 1". This change of vocabulary is not harmless: "This difference has implications for policy choices," he says. Mistake in your diagnosis and treatment you will be wrong. "
A remedy for the crisis lies not so, according to Zoellick, in relief fund of 750 billion put up by the European Union which can at best save time in Europe. The solution will not cures drastic austerity, especially if they involve an increase in taxation.

Stimulating innovation and employment:
Instead, the World Bank president calls for measures to stimulate investment, building of developing countries that invested in infrastructure and private sector reform, particularly services.
Zoellick is based in particular on the example of Asian countries last year, sought "how deregulation could stimulate innovation and employment" when the developed economies are throwing in "a broad movement regulator ' .
Taking the foot-cons of the solutions implemented in Europe to reassure the markets, Zoellick noted that in 2008 and 2010, economic difficulties have emerged in the United States and Europe. He concludes that every time, "these are developing countries that have shown leadership. It is time for us to take note ".
